Job Summary:

CHOMP is on the lookout for a highly motivated and outgoing Marketing & Sales Intern, to become a part of our expanding team. In this role, you’ll help stretch our circle of restaurant partnerships far and wide, fueling the momentum of our platform’s growth. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in building CHOMP’s customer base by implementing social media campaigns, crafting marketing content, and working closely with influencers who can help get the word out about CHOMP.

Throughout the internship, you’ll become a key player in our close-knit team, working alongside our Marketing & Sales Lead, as well as learning from our Founder & CEO on a daily basis.

Marketing:

  • Influencer Engagement: Identify and reach out to potential collaborators to generate content that raises awareness for CHOMP and our F&B partners

  • Campaigns: Share ideas for marketing and social media campaigns that will drive awareness and understanding for the CHOMP brand

  • Content Creation: Create reels and other forms of social media content to be used on CHOMP’s owned channels

  • Media Monitoring: Track CHOMP’s coverage and media sentiment in both English and Chinese media outlets and forums. Identify trending topics and conversations that CHOMP should be a part of.

  • Event Organisation: Support the team in the planning and execution of events

Sales:

  • Prospecting and Outreach: Identify and reach out to potential restaurant partners through digital and in-person methods to introduce them to CHOMP's platform and benefits.

  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners and managers to understand their needs and how CHOMP can help them reduce food waste and increase revenue.

  • Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling sales presentations to restaurant decision-makers, showcasing the benefits of partnering with CHOMP, including increased revenue and reduced food waste.

  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market potential to identify opportunities, develop effective sales strategies and maintain a regular status report.

Requirements:

  • Studying for a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sustainability or a related field is ideal, though not a must.

  • Got some experience? Fantastic! Especially if it’s in Marketing or Hospitality. If not, no worries, we value a willingness to learn.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key. We love people who can spark up a conversation and build relationships.

  • Self-motivated and target-driven - we love to celebrate those sales ringing!

  • Team player or a solo star, there's room for all. The ability to work independently and also jam with a team is golden.

  • Ready to step up to the challenge and shoulder big responsibilities? We admire that.

  • If you’re into sustainability and reducing food waste, that’s a big plus for us!

  • Local travel for in-person meetings is part of it, and a great chance to escape the office!

  • Must be digitally proficient including Canva, Notion, Excel and Microsoft
